  • Cold Weather Clothing for Children in Need

    Thank you so much for your heartfelt donations. Students are still using the coats and warm weather clothing to this day.

    Just a day ago, two of our first grade students -twins came to school with hoodies and no coat because they just arrived in the city. They chose two coats, same color, and different color hats. They went back to class and felt so good about themselves, they showed off to their classmates and teachers as soon as they entered the room. That's just one of the many stories that come from these donations. There are no words enough to describe the impact your donations make on the students. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

  • Self-Esteem and Confidence Through Clean Clothes.

    Thank you so much for the support provided to help students and families with their self-esteem. I have been able to provide multiple families with detergent. The families that are in need of this very important resource are extremely grateful. It creates a sense of relief to be able to simply be able to wash clothes. Your donations helped create a safe space in our school community, which is an extremely important in this current climate. I hope to continue to provide our families with the basic and necessary needs by providing more clothing, coats, socks, and hats. Thank you again, we appreciate all of you.”

Hello! I'm a School Social Worker that primarily serves Students in Temporary Housing. I work in a wonderful community school where the staff is very supportive of the parents and students. Though there is a massive amount of support, one area of need is laundry. Clean clothes are imperative to the self-esteem and confidence of not just our students, but everyone. Attendance and student self-esteem are highly impacted by simply having clean clothes. Having a stocked laundry room would greatly benefit all of our students and families. Please donate to our laundry room for our students and their families.
