Art Is Cool!
Funded Dec 4, 2024The students use the new paint brushes, painting on our New Art Easel we receive from our generous donors to paint some creative pictures. The students were also excited, happy to use the Kenectic multi-color sand to find hidden treasures, make sand castle and more. The students will continue to use the new items that were donated to the pre-k classroom and the next project each preschool student will get a chance to make letters using the Wood Craft Sticks that was also provided because of our generous donors.”

Young Readers Becomes Leaders!
Funded Jan 1, 2024Thank you for taking the time to fund my project for the pre-k students. Kaplan Early Learning Beginning Readers Books will help students look at the pictures in the book and may be able to guess whats going to happen next. Students will learn how to treat and use the books. The pre-k students will learn how to point at the words starting to read from left to right as I model this skills for them and they begin to memic this skill. The students are so excited to have these new variety of books to choose from in our library area.”

Funded Nov 29, 2023Thank you for taking the time to read, share, post project and generously donate to my classroom project for the pre-k students. These items will help the students stay warm and gain healthy eating habits and to learn when, where should we ware these clothing. The students were so excited when I told them our project has been fully funded and we will soon be receiving the sweatpants fleece joggers, hats and Nutri-Gran soft baked bars. The students will be able to enjoy the winter weather when they go outside to play while they ware the knitted Warm Magic Mittens and the Stretchy Beanie Caps.”

Funded Apr 3, 2023My students where so excited to have all the new materals. The students love playing with the Kinetic Sand building castles, having treasure hunts, hiding things under the sand. The students enjoyed eating their snacks and some of the students were even counted and sorted the colors of Welch's Fruit Snacks. My Pre-K children love exploring and having new materials that will help them in their growth of develpomental learning. The students next lesson will be to make their own unique slim using the Jumbo Slim Kit and using some of their senses like smelling, and feeling.”

Funded Feb 12, 2023My students where so excited when I told them the project got fully funded and I not only showed them all of the materials but I also let them touch, explore and hold the materials. The new material are spreaded across the classroom in the center areas and each students can choose to work with them as they please. My students are absolutley engaged with all the new materials. We have had a small group lessons using the Ten Frame Set to help the students with counting, recognizing numbers, adding and subtracting and just buliding basic relationships with numbers. Our next project we will be making a poster collage using the Jumbo Number Stampers and Shape Stampers.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022My Pre-K students was so excitied when I told them that our project has been fully funded and we should start to recieve the materials soon.The Carstens Pre-K students are so happy to have enough elmers glue sticks for each student to make collages using the Multi color contruction paper and placing the cut up fabric pieces, Multi color tissue paper. They are also happy about the new paint the donors got for us to create beautiful pictures. The students are on the clothes study and will be working on tie dying their t-shirts after the new year. Thanks again for funded this project for the pre-k students and we hope you enjoy the pictures.”

Funded Nov 15, 2021The jumbo alphabet unifix cubes provided many learning activities for my pre-k students. Students are creating patterns, matching the letters in the order of their name tags, building tall towers and small towers. The students were so happy and excited when I introduce all the new items that had arrived and they could not wait to explore them. I am very thankful because having these new items will support and increase children engagement of learning. The next step for pre- k students is study of clothes; and the dramatic play costumes we received will help support the study. My pre- k children will investigate different information about clothes, such as how clothes are made, what type of fabric, uniforms, pajamas, pants, swim suites, and when should we wear these types of clothing etc.”

Funded Jun 19, 2019I will like to explain how the materials donated impact my student's in pre-k classroom. These materials helped my students in many ways. The stamper and paintbrushes was very helpful in our Art interest area, we were able to make cute thank you cards, pictures of our community on Community day and explore our creativity.
The kinetic sand was a great hit in our sand and water table area, the student's were able to feel and talk about different textures of materials, they learned the skills of taking turns and telling time, as they waited for their turn to work in the sand and table area. Shovels and buckets were used to pick up and pour sand , which supported their fine motor skills and language development.
The new snacks gave our students more choices during snack time, their were able to choose from many varieties of snack, such as healthy snacks, cookies, baked chips, and crackers, and 100% fruit snacks.
My students learned the importance of eating healthy, sharing, living in a community and being creative. My students were so excited to see all of the materials, that was delivered to the classroom we opened up the boxes during are large group morning message to see what was new for us to use in the classroom today. I seen lots of smiles and happiness on their faces. I know we are truly thankful for the donations given to our pre k classroom.”
