This classroom project was brought to life by PwC and 6 other donors.

As my first year of teaching slowly comes to an end, I took some time to reflect on what I needed to ensure my incoming students would have everything they need to succeed. For guided reading, I have the pleasure of educating the excelling students who love to read and are constantly trying to challenge themselves to become even better readers. Unfortunately, with being a first grade teacher, I do not have many chapter books for these students to read. By supporting this project, you are putting over 100 new chapter books into the hands of over 40 students a year. This will expose them to new vocabulary as well as maybe sparking a new love for reading in a certain series of books!
