These materials would aid in creating a safe, cozy, calm area for students who are having a difficult day, upset, overwhelmed by emotions and / or simply need a short break. Comfy floor seats, an area rug, and an echo dot are a few materials that can help make the difference. These materials will allow students to move away from a stressful situation to a comfortable space where they are allowed to cool down, express their emotions appropriately, self-sooth and then return to work. The calming corner will be in the classroom so they can easily access the area as well as return to learning quickly.
