  • Math Centers

    Funded Apr 1, 2025

We wouldn’t be able to do it without all of your help! It’s truly always such a blessing to be able to get these donations funded. Our students allow center time. They all love being able to play games and learn math at the same time! Thank you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lowenfels

  • Make Math Fun!

    Funded Sep 12, 2024

Thank you all so much again for the amazing donations. Students have worked hard using the bridge the gap tools. The bridge the gap cards has helped so much when it comes to addition and subtraction. We love how it gives students multiple opportunities to solve problems. Students also used the manipulatives for place value strategies. And we truly can't get the students to stop playing "I have.. who has..". They love to challenge each other and play against the other 4th grade class! It creates a need and want to learn their fluency facts.”

  • Clip Away!

    Funded Oct 4, 2023

Thank you all so very much! We have used our new clipboards around the classroom independently and for whole group almost every day! It has been a ton of fun watching the students move about the classroom using their clipboards. We have also used our clipboards to have scavenger hunts around the room! The headphones have had a huge impact on our students! Students are able to listen to stories independently and can listen to stories that are above their reading level to help them grow as readers! As mentioned this has also helped our ENL students when listening to a story in English and in Spanish.”

  • Readers Today,Leaders Tomorrow!

    Funded Sep 3, 2023

Thank you again for this wonderful donation! By having our wonderful world carpet, it has helped our students have an extra space to work together. This carpet has also given the students an awesome experience while book shopping and exploring the world around us!

Our magnetic book shelves have been a huge help for us during our module! We have show. Students so many different books that go along with their writing module and our reading module. Students were able to explore and see different expository writings to spark interests for their own writings! Some of those books are the books that were donated! Again thank you so very much!”

  • Be Amazed

    Funded Aug 31, 2022

This project has really helped our classroom environment be bright and vibrant! With the printer and link we have been able to print anchor charts, student work, and steps for students to use to help guide them while reading. The printer and ink has also helped students print pictures for their published writing pieces. The post-its have also made a huge impact on my students learning. During our morning meeting, students can use the post-its to answer questions. This allows for me to see what students need to work on and to ensure that learning is going on in the classroom. Students also use their post-its while reading. In 3rd to 5th grade, students are switching their focus of reading to thinking while they are reading. The post-its allow for students to pause while they are reading and to jot down what they are thinking. This helps build their understanding. We all greatly appreciate all the help we received.”

  • Fun for Centers

    Funded Dec 14, 2021

Thank you again for all your support. Your donations have truly helped my students with enjoying centers. The children love being about to play different games and also enjoy being able to learn at the same time. Students are having both ELA and Math centers every single day and by having a variety of games they are able to learn and practice previously taught objectives. Thank you all again. The enjoyment that is on all of their faces when they are playing with a partner or a group is truly all what is needed to understand how impactful these center games are.”

  • Lifelong Readers

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations. My students love their reading baggies. They were able to create their own individual bag and they love being able to take home books. We also use the math books for our monthly math book of the month. We read the math book together and then continue with a follow up project afterwards. We also received books for our library. With the unfortunate events of Covid the students last year were only allowed to use websites that provided a virtual library. This year students love to go to our classroom library and take physical books. Yet again thank you all for your support and donations.”

  • Safety First!

    Funded Sep 10, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation. As always the kids are always so excited to receive materials to help them grow as learners as well as keep their desks or materials in one place. The writing process folders are always such a big hit with the kids! They love being able to place their writing in the correct step of the writing process, as well as being able to look at each step and having a checklist constantly in front of them. The students also really enjoy having their very own pencil cases. These cases help keep their pencils, post-it nots, pens and most importantly all of their log in information. This really helps keep all of their materials in one place. Thank you again for always being so thoughtful and helping a wonderful cause!”

  • A Splash of School at Home!

    Funded Sep 6, 2020

Thank you all so much for your donations! When they first came into the classroom they were beyond grateful to all have their own take home bag with their own supplies. But as you may know, schools have now gone complete remote. This take home bag has been a huge impact on our students. We have helped our families financially and allowed for the students to have the best learning experience they can while being remote at this time. Our students use their notebooks every single day for our lessons remotely. The students use their index cards to write vocabulary words.”

  • All Good Things Printed

    Funded Jan 21, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our project, "All Good Things Printed." These donations have allowed us to provide beautiful printings for our students to interactive with and use when working independently. Students use the printed math prompts and the math discussion mat when engaging in conversations about math problems. These math discussion mats allow for each student to see when a student begins talking, ends talking, and pauses, allowing for another student to engage in the discussion. We also printed a flow map for Close Reading, editing marks, and text symbols to help students during writing assignments. As you can see your donations has gone towards improving our classroom and student learning. Thank you again for your generous donations!”

    With gratitude,

We use the Velcro to hang student work outside and inside of the classroom, as well as their Thinking Maps, Anchor Charts, words for the Word Wall, and etc. This class is split into two classrooms, the paper is used for in-class visuals, projects, and experiments. The Writing Process Folders allow for our students to enhance their writing by visually guiding them through each of the five steps. In these folders, students are also given possible writing topics, overused words, and commonly misspelled words. The writing process does not only help students in ELA but across all topics. These folders allow for the students to be held accountable for their writing and to continue to become more independent writers. Thank you so much for helping our students and for allowing us to provide the best experience we can! We strive for success and greatness and giving them every opportunity to persevere. We appreciate every single person that has helped us this year through DonorsChoose!
