Incorporating technology into my SEI mathematics classroom enables me to create powerful collaborative learning experiences for my students that will support problem solving and creative thinking. Technology can provide students the opportunity to discuss math, create and connect visuals, conduct research studies, analyze data, discover patterns, and make inferences. The Chromebooks will be a helpful tool in providing my students with several manipulatives as well as access to online programs to increase their math skills. They will have the opportunity to enhance their learning process and make their concepts come alive through engaging and interactive media. They will also have access to additional supports to address their individual needs by creating customized learning experiences.
