It is my first semester in the Certificate of Dyslexia Graduate program, and I have learned SO much!
I've expanded my understanding about the Science of Reading, Evidenced based practice and structured and systematic literacy practices. I've learned about the core deficits in reading disorders as well as critical components to treatment and intervention. The pictures I've posted demonstrate some of the work I have been doing, including the different literacy models, administering screenings and developing lesson plans.
