Making learning fun is the best way to get students to learn. Having the different games and text sets on the list will give my students options of practicing their English Language without using paper and pencil. The games will be a wonderful way to engage the students while still practicing and honing into the skills they need to practice. With ELL students verbal practice is essential to their future writing and expression. Being a newcomer or culturally different is hard for many students. These text sets will aid in teaching peers about cultural awareness with in their class. Creating connections to different student cultures to the experience of being all new in this country.
