In the classroom I have students with anxiety, autism, ADHD and other sensory seeking behaviors. The tools I am asking for would be used throughout the day to help students focus and as well as calm students down when their emotions are elevated. I personally have seen the difference in the classroom when students, who need these tools, are able to utilize these resources (fidgets and alternative seating). For example, some students find sitting still for prolonged periods of time difficult; during silent reading these students would be able to utilize desk cycles so that their lower body would still be engaged and moving while their top half can focus on the book.
