• Basic Supplies to Open My Students Minds!

  Funded May 30, 2019

  The materials you sent for my students are a great help. You have allowed us to get a great start on the school year. Every day the students look forward to learning something new and smile when they see that they each have new individual supplies to allow them to put their expressions on paper. Some of the items aid in how the students respond to questions. Specifically dry erase markers and erasers are used in conjunction with personal white boards so that they can quickly express their answers indicating their place in comprehending the topic. Items such as colored pencils have come in handy as students shade in important areas for future review or studying. They are also serving very well to detail the work and provide finishing touches and decorations to small projects. The notebooks helped take the stress off for many of the students who were not able to have all their supplies in order to be prepared for the first few days of school.

  There's never a dull moment when it comes to needing a sharpened pencil to either start or finish an assignment. With your generosity we are always on point with an ample supply of pencils that will undoubtedly carry us through the school year. The hanging pockets provides individual mail slots for each student where they can pick up their "do now's" and drop off "exit tickets" all aiding in the overall organization of the classroom. This I hope assists in their development of good habits and organizational skills.

  There really aren't enough words or pictures to share to express how much of an impact your generosity has on the lives of my students. We all thank you for being kind enough to think of us when you filled this order. When you read this we will likely be busy working on the next assignment or project. We hope to experience your generosity in the future again if the opportunity presents itself.”
