  • A Space to Thrive in Literacy

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

    Thank you so much! Having the small group U-shape table has made such a huge part of our classroom environment. Students now have a comfortable space to practice important literacy skills. The shape of the table ensures that the teacher can check for any misconceptions and assist students with tasks. Students know where to go when they need help. When my students 1st saw the table in the classroom they were so excited! Every single student is asking to sit at the table. It is super engaging! Thank you again for all your donations it has made this literacy classroom thrive and go to the next level of learning.”

  • The Learning Carpet

    Funded Aug 29, 2022

    Having a carpet in my room has allowed my students to be able to learn in more unique ways. It has given them a more comfortable feeling and belonging in the room as well. Students gather together on our cozy colorful carpet. It makes our classroom inviting. The students use the carpet daily for read alouds. They use it during lunch for social emotional learning too. We are also able to create small group areas and define space on the room. Students are engaged in learning because they want to be able to move from their desks to our carpet area to read or discuss academic topics. Having a carpet has made such a huge impact on our learning environment!”

  • A Splash of Color in 2nd Grade!

    Funded May 3, 2022

    Now being in school 2nd grade is bursting with color, thanks to our new color printer. Color is super important in schools so that students can visually see specific details when learning phonics, fiding key details in a text or word problems. All students love the color in their work!!!

    Our classroom visual schedules, alphabet and numberlines are all printed in a rainbow of colors from out new printer. It is so easy to print out differentiated resources instantly in the classroom. 2nd grade is even more colorful than ever.
