The micro:bit are mini computers with led lights that help young people learn to code so they in turn are confident and creative with technology. Coding can be a scary idea for some scholars, this is a fun interactive project to expose them to coding in a new way. They will have on hands on experience using Blocks, JavaScript, and Python. These special little computers can make a big impact on future job opportunities. Understanding technology is an essential part of 21st Century Skills. Studies have shown that learning computing with physical tools such as the BBC micro:bit is fun, creative and impactful.
