A Listening Center for Lively, Little Ears
Funded Dec 12, 2010We are so incredibly grateful for the wonderful listening center that you donated to our classroom. Our students use this system so often that we have already purchased an additional set of books on tape! When we give the children options for choice time, the listening center is ALWAYS the first center to fill up! We have started to use the listening center as an incentive for good behavior, allowing children to utilize it in lieu of independent reading.
Our city is facing even further budget cuts, and without your donations, our students would have gone without this educational opportunity. Our students are now privy to even more read alouds. This would NEVER have been possible without you! Thank you again for thinking about children in need. And thank you for providing an important resource to some of the city's most deserving children!”

Funded Dec 2, 2010We are so incredibly grateful for the wonderful books that you donated to our classroom. Our students read these books so often, that they are already showing signs of wear! Each and every book is read multiple times each day. We have had fewer arguments over books, as there are now plenty to go around. Needless to say, the students are thankful for the books, and we are thankful that there are fewer disagreements!
Our city is facing even further budget cuts, and without your donations, our students would have gone without these books. These books that are so essential in their jump from emergent readers to leveled readers. These favorite storybooks are a hot commodity in our room, and now each child has a set of his/her own. This would NEVER have been possible without you! Thank you again for thinking about children in need. And thank you for providing an important resource to some of the city's most deserving children!”
