  • Bright and Beautiful Painting

    This has been a year to grow and learn as a teacher. I was teaching virtually for most of the school year. I was able to finally do a few art projects with my students in class. They were literally so excited!! I was able to use the wonderful tempera paints that were gifted to me by you. We did a lesson on Berthe Morisot and her impressionist art. The students were learning how to dry brush paint. Up to this point the students had only used watercolors so this was a very different medium they were using. Some of the students succeeded in the art assignment. Some need more practice. I loved this lesson. I wish we would've has more time this year to create more art together. I will be able to use the art supplies with my next years students. This gift will keep on giving to impact many students live. Thank you so much for being so generous to me as a teacher. I truly appreciate your generosity.”

These materials will be a fun and creative way for students to express themselves through their artwork. Working in the arts helps students with their creativity, language skills and social skills. By donating to our project, you will help children learn essential skills like shapes and patterns while also developing decision making skills. You will ultimately help these students increase their academic achievement. Creating artwork will engage all students while boosting their critical thinking skills and also, connecting students with their culture as well as with the world. These are all critical abilities our future leaders need to develop.

About my class
