Students will incorporate STEM concepts into building a working roller-coaster. They will analyze and measure their creations and present their geometric findings. The supplies will allow all students to have hands-on experience in the design and creation process of their roller-coaster. Students will work in groups of four, designing and creating colorful 3-D roller-coasters, roughly 2 feet by 3 feet as high as the students chose to build them. Students will be compete with each other. The unit will be conducted over the span of three weeks. We thank you very much for the consideration of our geometry project. Thank you!
