These six (6) wobbly stools are mobile; therefore, my students can move the stool around our room, as instruction changes from whole group to small group. A student may want to use a stool at their desk and at a table, while working with a small group. The mobility of this stool gives my students the flexibility to determine what they need to learn and how they need to learn. For some of my students, the desire to learn and the desire to fulfill a sensory need compete against each other; these stools will allow my students to satisfy both needs. Additionally, these stools will activate core and leg muscles, which will build posture. A stronger core will aid deeper breathing patterns bringing in more oxygen, which will keep brains alert. This stool will allow my students, who need to be active, the ability to move in all directions, which enhances attention and focus on instruction, class discussion, and class work.
