I work at a small school designed to help acclimate students who are new to the country. During this time we expose them to formal schooling, close many gaps that the students have in the education and approach our students through a trauma informed focus. Despite what these kids have been through they come to school every day ready to learn and be loved. The amount of growth the these students make in just a years worth of time is astronomical. These are truly an inspirational bunch of kids to be working with.
