With COVID, we are still unsure how our school year will look. I would like to help my students face these struggles, while learning through supplemental literature. As a Title I school, accessibility is one of our largest challenges, and this project aims to help those with limited resources. My goal is for all students to love reading, relate to a story, and help to become better problem solvers. Each month will have a different character focus. These are the characteristics we will be learning about: respect, responsibility, honesty, kindness, self-control, perseverance, empathy, cooperation, self-confidence, compassion, gratitude, and manners.
