Staying Hydrated
Funded Aug 18, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! My students have loved being able to have a water bottle to use in school each day. Not everyone is able to afford to purchase a water bottle. I am happy that I don't need to worry about having my students use the water fountain in my classroom. First graders sure get thirsty, especially after P.E. and recess. The drying mat and sponges have come in handy! I am able to keep the water bottles clean. I also use them to keep my water filter clean. Again, thank you for providing these supplies for my students!”

ABC Countdown Part 3
Funded Apr 19, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! I apologize for the delay on my thank you letter. I love doing an ABC countdown to summer break with my students. Each day has a theme which gives us all something to look forward to each day. It also helps students know when to expect the last day of school. First graders can sometimes have a hard time saying good bye at the end of the year. I struggle with it myself. The ABC countdown helps us end on a good note and celebrate a little each of the last 26 days. Thank you for helping to make this possible!”

Phonics Training
Funded Feb 10, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this phonics training! I have noticed a huge different in my students' abilities to read and spelling since my district switched to a phonics based program. There is so much in the world of phonics, and I want to learn as much as I can. Sometimes I find myself needing to research phonics sounds or rules so that I can effectively teach the skills to my students. This training has helped me immensely. The more skills and resources I have in my toolbox, the better I can teach my students. It is a win win for everyone!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Oak Foundation and 2 other donors.TPT Resources
Funded Jan 25, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! The Teachers Pay Teachers website makes teaching so much easier because they have some for just about any content you teach. I have been able to purchase resources to help me students with reading, math, and social studies. Being able to get additional resources that are engaging and cover exactly what I need makes things better for my students. They are able to sharpen their skills in whatever area they need addition support in. Thank you for providing my students and me with the opportunity to buy resources for TPT!!!”

First Aid in First Grade
Funded Mar 1, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded for some first-aid items. I work at a very large school that has upwards of 900 students enrolled. We only have one nurse. I created this project to help me handle as many first-aid situations as possible in order to take some of the load off of our nurse. I am able to check temperatures when my students don't feel well. If they have a fever, I call parents to let them know their students need to be picked up. The heat packs and cold packs are perfect for when students have some bumps. Thank you so much for providing these items for my students and me!”

Binding Machine
Funded Feb 1, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded for a book binding machine and supplies to go with it. The binding machine is really neat! I can now print out and bind resources that I use personally which makes organizing materials so much easier. Everything is in one place. I am also able to bind together resources for my students to use whether is be resources to help with reading, writing, or math. I hope to one day make a class book with work from my students that they can take home for a special keepsake. Thank you for providing these materials for my students and me!!!”

Croc Bracelets and Charms
Funded Jan 26, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded for me to use as a behavior management incentive. Crocs in general are really in these days. I wanted to get some Croc charms for my students to be able to pick from the treasure books. It is a fun way to customize the Crocs and let students show some of their interest. Not all students have Crocs. This is why I got some charm bracelets. They will be perfect for students who don't have Crocs or who just like charm bracelets. Thank you for providing these items for my students!”

New Caddies
Funded Mar 1, 2023Thank you so much for funding this project for my students and me! I absolutely love these caddies! They are more spacious than any other caddy I have ever used in my classroom. The six compartments help to separate all the supplies my students use. This helps them to be able to grab what they need quickly. Also, the compartments are removeable which helps for easy cleaning and sanitizing! I got some different colors which will look great in my classroom! I cannot thank you enough for providing these for my students and me!!!”

Calm Down With Squishmallows
Funded Feb 10, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! These Squishmallows are so soft and adorable! I have some students with behavior issues and/or anxiety. I wanted to create a calm down corner for these students and any other students who may benefit for it. First graders often times have a hard time understanding and processing their emotions. I wanted to give them a safe space that they can go to when they need some time to calm down. These Squishmallows are an awesome addition! My students love them! Thank you for providing them for my classroom!”

Celebration Pencils
Funded Mar 6, 2023Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! I have so many fun pencils to celebrate different holidays and content areas we are working on. My students typically use the standard yellow school pencil throughout the school year. I was trying to think of a fun way to mix things up a bit. During the week of holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Easter, etc.) I will switch out the regular pencils for festive pencils. Also when we are working on content such as animal coverings, I can exchange the regular pencils out or animal printed pencils. Thank you so much for providing these pencils for my students!”
