Snack Time
Funded Sep 8, 2022I saw the snack containers, muffin tins, and reusable muffin cups in another teacher's room and I knew that was something that would me amazing to have in my room! Thank you much for funding this project so that I can easily distribute snacks to my students. My students ask every day if lunch is soon. They are always hungry! These snack items will help tied them over during the time between breakfast and lunch. The containers and muffin cups will help with portion control so that we don't run through our snacks to quickly. Today was the 8th day of school. We still have 172 days to go, so I want to make sure the snacks I have can last as long as possible!”

Keeping It Clean in Our Room
Funded Sep 6, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this project for cleaning projects funded! I have a interactive smart board in my room now and it can only be cleaned with electronic wipes. I am glad that I can now make sure it stays clean. The will be extra important once my students start using it. They can sometimes have sticky fingers! I also have an affirmation area with a mirror. The Windex wipes are going to perfect for keep that clean. I wanted the Wet Ones for my students to use when they clean up their tables. I learned that hard way that Clorox and Lysol wipes can cause fingers to burn. All the other supplies are going to be put to great use! Thank you for providing these cleaning supplies for my students and me!”

Art Supplies Pt 2
Funded Sep 6, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this art supply project funded! The Sharpies are going to come in handy when we do directed drawings. My students do the art activity with pencil in case they make a mistake. Now they will be able to trace their outline and make it 'pop'! The crayons are going to be for special occasions. They typically use a 24 count crayon box, so having 40 additional colors when I bust out the 64 count box is going to be fun! The little sharpeners are going to be used year round. We go through crayons! My students will be able to sharpen their crayons which will help show them that its ok if a crayon gets dull or breaks. They can continue to be used! I am glad that I have a restock of construction paper too! Thank you so much for providing these materials for my students and me!!!”

Funded Aug 29, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded so that I have a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to buy craft files with! So far I have purchased a writing craft for the year. There are different pictures for students to decorate with pieces of construction paper and then write about their picture. There are options for holidays and for seasons so my students can make lots of different crafts from this file. I also purchased a file for a haunted house craft. We do a switch day for a few special days during this school year. This is when the students get to do a craft with every first grade teacher. We are doing a switch day on Halloween and my craft is going to be the haunted house! I still have money left over to purchase more crafts throughout the school year. Thank you for making this possible!!!”

Art Supplies
Funded Sep 2, 2022Thank you so much for helping me fund this art project. This project was filled with super fun craft supplies. I cannot get enough glitter! I got glow in the dark glitter with this project!!! I didn't even know that existed, but I sure am glad I found out that it did! These supplies will be used throughout the school year. My students will be able to add some razzle dazzle to some of their activities now that we have these art supplies. This helps to keep things more fun for them. Thank you for blessing my students and me with all of these supplies! I seriously cannot thank you enough!”

Funded Sep 2, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! I can't wait to have my students do the fun crafts I got through this project. I have never had students make suncatchers before, but I've seen them in other teacher's windows. They look adorable! I look forward to having my students make suncatchers throughout the year so that we can put some in our windows! I am thankful that my students will have some awesome materials to have fun craft time. This will break up some of the regular routine of content work. We don't have many opportunities to stray from the curriculum, so I take every chance I can get! My students' parents will love the keepsakes that come home!!”

Funded Aug 26, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! I got some awesome items. The Banana tiles are going to be perfect for practicing spelling words. The floor puzzles are going to be used during indoor recess. My students will be able to practice a few skills while having fun. They get so excited when they put a whole puzzle together! The rocks and minerals will be a great addition when I teach physical properties. I wanted the containers so that my students could sort them by similar properties such as color and texture. This gives them an opportunity for some hands on exploration. That is one of the best ways for them to learn! Thank you for providing these resources for my class!!!”

Funded Aug 18, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get this project funded! I am super excited about this project and I never would of thought of the concept if it weren't for the donation match. I am going to do a lesson where my students get to "shop" for an item. They will have to decide if they are going to buy something they need (a school item) or something they want. The play cash register and the little tiny shopping carts are going to make the lesson even more fun! This will give my students an opportunity to better understand economics. It will cover spending money, wants/needs, and cost/benefit. I cannot wait to be able to do this lesson with my students! Thank you so much for providing the resources for us!”

Funded Aug 18, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get my project "Classroom Economy Items" funded! I am so happy that I am able to have a bunch of fun rewards available for my students. Part of my classroom management plan includes giving my students dolphin dollars when they are meeting all expectations and/or going above and beyond. Students are expected to behave and follow rules, but its not the easiest thing for them to do. Kids are kids and I feel like they should be rewarded for working hard at being a good student and classmate. My students can use their dolphin dollars to "buy" prizes. Thank you so much for providing these items for my students and me!”

Funded Aug 13, 2022Thank you so much for helping me get my "Science STEM Building Kits" project funded! This was another project that someone(s) stole packages off my porch from. Again, I was lucky that they weren't interested in anything that I had delivered that day! I am glad that I am able to add these awesome STEM kits to my classroom. My students will be able to use them to build things during indoor recess. I also try to incorporate the building kits into my lessons when I can. My students love doing things that are hands on, so these items are perfect for that! The building kits also provide an opportunity for my students to let their imaginations run wild. Unfortunately, don't have enough time for that built into our curriculum. I have to fit it in where I can. Thank you for providing these resources for my students and me!”
