Having individual bench pins will help my students work independently and at their own pace. This classroom was not originally intended to host a jewelry making course, so it is taking some time to build up the necessary tools and equipment to support the projects I want them to be able to accomplish. Some tools are easily shared among a group- some tools however, really hinder a students progress and time management when there is not enough to go around. I would love to be able to put bench pins on each table in my classroom. The bench pins I'm requesting also have an anvil attached where it would mount to the table. This will not only be useful for their projects, but will also save some of my normal "art tables" some rough blows.
