The use of technology is a constant daily activity in my classroom, especially in the areas of Science, Social Studies and Math. Using the Chromebooks will give the students a model for guided practice and to record and save their research work. We currently have 14 student laptops allocated to our classroom of 22 students. Even though they are great about sharing our very limited equipment it does become problematic and distracting for my students who have to miss an opportunity to enhance their learning. By having these additional resources, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our technology project, you will not only provide additional opportunities for my students to improve and increase their attention and academic focus, but you will also help me help them to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to focus on the availability of our academic material at hand, and not whether they will have the opportunity to use technology. In addition, this technology literate world, and an​ opportunity to utilize the updated technology will increase their technological literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
