I want to support middle and high school students by providing them with personal hygiene supplies at no cost. Because so many of our students struggle with food insecurity and poverty, I know that they are often not provided with these basic supplies to help them maintain good personal hygiene. Middle and high school can be a difficult place to navigate socially and emotionally, by providing these students with some basic supplies, I hope to remove at least one barrier for them. No family should have to choose between buying food or deodorant, shampoo or menstrual supplies for their child. I want to remove the stigma and embarrassment of having this need.

About my class
