  • Coding Bots for Kinders

    Thank you very much for taking the time to donate to help us. You have truly blessed my students. They have become stronger critical thinkers, problem solvers using Computer Science. They began to develop different scenarios to problem solve.

    Now, who doesn't want that?

    So the students learned to create algorithms, and programmed them. They also watched for bugs and created bugs as necessary.

    Using the bots allowed the students to apply these skills and experience a hands on approach. They were thrilled.

    Every student, and i mean EVERY student was successful. It fostered more team work which naturally connected to other subject areas.

Learning about Computer Science and coding is a joy to my students. They are connecting it to everyday life as well as other subject areas. It guarantees the chance to struggle, create, fail, persevere, problem-solve as well as succeed. ( That is growth!) Having the bots will provide my kinders an opportunity to code/ program the bots as they discover different ways to explore with coding. This will not only allow students in my class to go beyond their levels, it will be a catalyst for continued creativity for all my students; the strugglers, ELL, non- English speaking, high-achievers, etc. (Access for all) We will truly appreciate the chance to grow as learners and Coding -Kinders.

About my class
