• Ink and Snacks for Care

• Start the School Year With a Bang

  Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. My co teacher, students and I are so grateful for these basic supplies.

  The paper towels help us to give out snacks. They also help us to clean the classroom.

  The wipes help us to get the classroom clean as well as we use them everyday to get to wipe the germs away and to keep us healthy.

  The tissues also help us to stay healthy as well as the kids use them to blow their nose or when they cough. They know that it is good to not spread germs and keep our friends safe.”

• Snacks, Water, and Socks Oh My!

  Thank you so much for these snacks, socks and water bottles for my class. The students were so happy to each get a water bottle that they can use when they are thirsty. You also helped us to save the planet because they are refillable water bottles.

  Parents were also happy with these water bottles because it saved them money for having to buy the bottles for the kids.

  Thank you so much for the snacks and for the socks. We noticed that some kids came to school sock-less so now their feet are warm.”

• Goodies for Newcomers

  Thank you very much for the snacks. Students enjoyed the fruit snacks, drinks and cookies. Sometimes, the snacks were used as incentives, for example, I would give students a difficult question and whoever answered first, would receive a snack of his/her choice. Students enjoyed playing this game and looked forward to a reward. Additionally, when students arrived to school late and did not have time to eat breakfast in the cafeteria I would give them a snack to hold them over before lunch time. Thank you very much for the snacks.”

• Basic Supplies

  Funded Mar 13, 2024

  Thank you very much for the school supplies in the middle of the year when the beginning of the year school supplies have all been used. The students enjoyed using the Lysol wipes to clean their desks at the end of the day and the soft Kleenex tissues to dry their hands or wipe spills. These Lysol wipes made sure that the students also stayed healthy toward the end of the winter and the start of the spring season. During the spring some students have allergies so it is important for students to clean their desks.

• Incentives for Students.

  Thank you very much for the incentives for my students. My 1st grade students were very happy when they saw the incentives that they could earn for putting in effort in their work or being a kind person to their peers.

  The students enjoyed playing with the legos where they were able to build anything that they wanted. Students also loved the painting kits and the finger painting where they were able to express themselves.

  The biggest two incentives were the razor scooter and the remote control cars.”

• Learning about Community Service

  Thank you very much for funding my learning about community project. This project will allow students to play and work together as they work together to build towers with magna tiles and work together to build a marble run. Students will be able to play these games during fun Friday and build communication skills.

  In addition to the games, students will be able to earn money with the play money. Students will be able to learn the value of 1, 5 and 10 dollars as I will give them money as they are kind to each other.”

• Color Copies for Financial Literacy Learning

  Thank you so much for my all in one printer. This has been a lifesaver for my first graders and I. With this printer I have been able to make copies of essential sight words that they must know, copies of beginning and ending sounds, copies of letters that they need to trace and homework.

  This color machine really lets students visualize words that that we are discussing in class. It has also helped me to assist other teachers in the school to printer out papers that they need for their students and”

• Essential Classroom Supplies

  Thank you very much for the supplies. I am a first year teacher in the New York City Public School and I was scared that I would not have the materials that I needed for my class. Previously I worked in a charter school and I had everything I needed. However, due to you, donors, I am able to have what I need in the classroom.

  Thank you for the caddies for each table. With the caddies the students are able to put essential school supplies and they know where their writing and coloring supplies go
