These materials will be used to create a school mural (or a few). It will help my students take ownership of their school, as well as, have a sense of pride as they walk the halls. They will get to learn first hand what it takes for an artist to plan, sketch, paint and present the finished artwork. They will learn to overcome artistic challenges, become problem solvers and to think about the artistic choices they are making. They will be exposed to the joys of pubic art and what it can do for the school environment and the overall learning experience.
