Students engage independently using various Educational Apps on iPads. The iPads are issued to us by our school's technology person. Last year, headphones were issued but many were destroyed by students who did not properly plug the cord into the correct port on the IPad. Some of the headphones have a short which causes them to have sound only intermittently. While students are working independently and during center time, I work with a small group of students who need extra help. These wireless headphones will make for a more efficient classroom environment without constant interruptions of a "tangled mess" and a more effective technology experience for my new kindergartners. This set of wireless headphones will make a perfect addition to our classroom!
