• Color Me Tie-Dye

• Creativity through STEM

  Thank you very much for helping support STEM in my classroom. These kids are learning so much, and these donations are helped them to have STEM items to learn even more with. These helped our reading units come to life for them and will help them rememeber these concepts for life.

  The air dry clay was used to help make beaks for birds in our bird reading unit. We studied all about why birds beaks are shaped the way they are. The kids had a ton of fun creating the bird beaks.

  The water color and water color sheets were used to make pictures of sunsets and sunrises. We did a whole unit on the sun, moon, and stars during reading. The kids really enjoyed being able to create with the water colors and papers.

• Fabulous Firstie Supply Renewal

  Thank you so much for donating to help my students have more supplies to learn with as we continue into the rest of the school year.

  The Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer are already helping keep this class healthy and clean. We are having less absences than the other classes by being able to sanitize our hands and Lysol our desks often.

  The paperclips, binder clips, tape, white out, sharpies, and Mr. Sketch markers are helping the classroom flow better and helping the kiddos be able to learn better through having the better flow.

• Whiteboard Madness

  Thank you very much for giving a new white board to my classroom. My students have been able to use it to solve math problems, learn from me teaching at it, and been able to do their spelling words with it. We have been doing our journal entries from the new white board. On top of that, we have our ten frames on the white board that we use for math, as well as, one of our classroom incentives, a table group incentive.

  When the new board was delivered, they were so excited to see it and be able to use it. They continue to come in and be excited to learn with our new white board.”

• Transformations for Better Learning

  Thank you for donating to our classroom. We were able to get a green screen, stage lights, glow sticks, and beach balls. We have been able to have a glow party to celebrate our amazing behavior with the stage lights and glow sticks. The kids had a blast. We have also been studying tools in our reading curriculum, and we were able to talk about the lights as a tool for musicians, actors, and such.

  The green screen has been a blast to use during our reading curriculum. We have been able to put ourselves in a construction site, professional kitchen, and a wrestling stage as we were talking about the tools needed for different things.

  The beach balls have been a really fun tool to help us practice our math facts. We have done addition and subtraction. We have also been working on our doubles math facts with them.”

• Color Me Tie-Dye Goodbye

  Thank you very much for donating to this project. We were able to get tie-dye, shirts, rubber bands, and the bags to keep the shirts in when dyed. These shirts turned out so well, and made a lasting impression on these kiddos. Many of my kiddos had never been able to tie-dye before, and this was such a fantastic activity that they will remember forever. They also were able to wear their tie-dye shirts on field day, and loved that!

• Spring into the New Year with new Books and Organization

  Thank you so much for donating to my classroom! This project was able to bring more books and storage for books for these amazing first graders! When they saw the boxes, they got so excited! They wanted me to open them right away and let them use them. They asked to get the books out and read around the room because they were so excited. We had a great time reading the new books that were given in our new book boxes.

  I was able to place books into these bins that they kids will be able to take around the room and read. They will have so much more access to these books because of your fabulous donation!”
