Time to Improve our Math Enrichment Activities
Funded Jan 15, 2025Thank you for your generous donation. I look forward to making new games for my students and being able to laminate them so they can last longer.
My students enjoy having a variety of games to choose from. I was getting low on paper to make new games.
Thanks again for your donation.”

Ms. Riberich
Time to Organize Math Enrichment Activities
Funded May 6, 2024Thank you so much for donating to my project, "Time to Organize Enrichment Activities." As you can see from the photos, our enrichment activities are now organized.
We were able to group them by the topic they focus on. We also labeled each container with the name of the game/activity to make it easier to grab an activity when needed.
These materials are shared between 8 teachers. The new organization system allows the other teachers to have access to the materials without needing to interrupt my classroom.
Thanks again!!”

Ms. Riberich

Funded May 10, 2023Thank you for the amazing bookmarks and pencils. My reading students were excited when they saw them. I explained that they could earn them by reading books. A few were so motivated they have already finished their book.
We will be starting our first classroom book soon. Each of the students will get to choose a lined sticky note to put in their book to take notes as we read. These are helpful to many students giving them a spot to quickly jot down notes they may need while reading.
A few of the students will be getting the line readers. Some students have a difficult time tracking words as they are reading. These will give them the extra support they need.
Thank you again for your support.”

Funded Jan 20, 2023Thank you for funding my project. There are many classroom items and school supplies that seem like they would be easy to get. However, for some students, that is not the case.
A large number of my students come to math or science class without a pencil to use. You have given these students the chance to forget about the fact that money for a pencil is not something that all students' families have.
The earbuds that were purchased help to replace the ones that have broken throughout the school year. The containers and labels work very nicely to store (and label) the entire class's earbuds together. It also allows them to be taken to another classroom if needed.
Again, thank you for funding my project and giving the students the ability to have one less worrisome burden.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Riberich
Necessary Classroom Supplies
Funded May 11, 2022Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom project, "Necessary Classroom Supplies."
With the donations, we were able to complete our classroom set of scientific calculators. Teaching both math and science, calculators are used almost every day. There are a number of students in the class who do not have a calculator of his/her own. This project has allowed them to have assistance in the classroom available to them at all times.
I also purchased earbuds so that every student in my science classes could have a set to keep in the classroom. Many have lost or broken their own set of earbuds. These allow the students to be able to listen to videos in class with ease.
The third set of items I purchased was dry erase boards and markers. We have used these on occasion as an alternative to paper-pencil work. The students enjoy using them as it is gives them a chance to have some variety in instructional methods.
The students and I thank you again for our generous donation.”

Funded May 23, 2019I would like to thank you for donating money to our classroom project, Calculators in the Classroom. We have used these calculators in both Math and Science classes.
Many of the topics we learn in sixth grade have complex math problems involved in them. We are currently learning ratios in Math. One of the parts of ratios is unit rates. Without the aid of a calculator, this is not an easy task. However, now all the students in my class have access to a calculator to achieve this task.
We have also used the calculators in Science. This week we made a representation showing the distance each planet is from the sun. The students divided numbers that were in the millions and billions. This is not a task that is easily done by hand. We used the calculators to assist the students in process.
There are a number of students in the class who do not have a calculator of his/her own. This project has allowed them to have assistance in the classroom available to them at all times.
Thank you again for helping to make this project possible!”
