My students are in need of basic materials to work with at home. The items I chose will not only help with their goals but it will also help to make it fun and exciting! Learning should be fun and exciting! We try to make sure that the students feel like they are still "in the classroom" while they work from home. We will be using glitter, scissors, dry erase markers, dry erasers, and pom poms to create a multitude of art work (color sorting, learning colors, working with numbers, etc). My students will use these supplies to create art work, and work on goals. I will be sending home monthly a packet that contains all the materials previously listed in ziplock bags, and file folders. I will be using the lighting to help my student with color matching, shape matching, and identifying certain goals where good lighting is necessary. Since my students are working from home, ink cartridges and printing paper is necessary so that it will take away the stress from the parents having to print the materials necessary. It is very important to me that my students feel they are appreciated, understood, and valued.
