Often students state that work gets boring and their minds wander. As a result I would like to introduce fidget boxes to the students to help them focus. Each side of the box creates a different tactile sensation and is small enough to fit in a student's pocket. They use these tools when their minds begin to wander or as a much needed to distraction when triggered by outside stimuli. Add to this the idea of mindfulness in the classroom setting or relaxation time through the use of music made accessible with the earbuds and you have a great classroom!
