It’s easy to forget facts, but experiences last forever! With this project, I would like to provide my students with equipment to take their learning to a different level by taking virtual reality “field trips” using Google Expedition kits. My students will be able to experience and visit ancient times, explore various battlefields and see what life was like back in time..all from our classroom! Virtual reality will provide my students with immersive learning experiences. Although books and computers are vital to learning, these Google expedition kits will allow them to experience history first hand and expand their education far beyond a textbook.
