Spike Prime in Robotics
Funded Apr 2, 2025Thank you for your generosity in supporting STEM in my classroom by providing a new Spike Prime robot for our robotics program. The students will enjoy them very much when they build and program them. Thanks for making this project possible and I can’t wait to see what they can do.”

Creativity with 3D Printing
Funded Nov 5, 2023Thank you again for your generous donation and helping me get this project funded! My students worked on 3D characters for a project they were working on in class. The example in the picture is one of their creations of a character they made for a project based on what they invented Dungeons and Dragons. They printed it on the new 3D printer! The creativity of this particular project was amazing as you can see. I cannot wait to see what my students can make on the 3D printer in my classroom.
This would not have been possible without your help! It is truly appreciated and we cannot thank you enough!”

Funded Oct 9, 2021Thank you for funding my project. My students as you can see have been hard at work, building and coding the Spike Prime robots in my STEM7 class. Students have created and coded a robot, electronic safe and a dancer. These hands on experiences will allow my students to develop their creativity, communication skills, grow into critical thinkers and will extend their social skills through developing effective collaboration. I appreciate your generosity in giving to my classroom and allowing my students to grow academically. Thanks again.”

Funded Sep 20, 2020I cannot begin to tell you the impact of receiving the LEGO Spike Prime robot is having in my STEM7 classroom. I am very your generous donation. My students have enjoyed it so much, that I have written another Donors Choose to get another robot and expansion kit so more students can have access and share in on building and coding opportunities on this type of robot. It is phenomenal seeing my students building their LEGO robot creations while using 21st century skills during class. In addition, this donation has helped our competition First LEGO League team by allowing another group of students a robot to design and test on our field map.
I want to thank you once again for enhancing the hands on learning opportunities for my students.”

Funded Mar 1, 2019Thank you again for your generous donations! It is truly appreciated! With this project, my students have access to a full set of Micro:bit circuit boards. This project allows my students a unique opportunity to program and engineer while using these mini computers. Micro:bits are a fun and realistic way for students to get involved in computer science while gaining the necessary programming and engineering skills needed for the 21st century world. Your generosity has given my students fifteen Micro:bits that we are able to use during our Project Lead the Way unit of Innovators and Makers in Computer Science. My students can now complete this unit which gives them experience in real life problem solving while using the Micro:bits to learn robotics and programming.”

Funded May 9, 2019Thank you again for your generous donations! It is truly appreciated! With this project, my students have access to a full set of Makey Makeys circuit boards, which allows my students to build physical attributes to connect them to the Makey Makey and then to the computer. My students learn coding skills online with Scratch by using the Makey Makey as a way to control the program as they learn how to code. The Makey Makey allows my students to continue learning their programming skills by manipulating real world objects with code.
In addition, your generous gift has allowed my STEM7 students to use littleBits as another way to continue to grow their knowledge of circuits. Both of these learning tools has allowed my students to gain valuable 21st century problem solving skills while gaining the necessary experience needed for a future career in STEM.
My students in my STEM7 class are in absolute love with the Makey Makey and littlebits that they are fully engaged when exploring with them and do not want to stop using them.
Again, we want to thank you each of our donors very much for your donations! It is truly appreciated and has helped our classroom!"”
