Math in Comfort

Thank you very much for your generous contribution to my class. Because of your donation, my class has been able to have the necessary supplies to do math in comfort. The students have surplus of pencils to complete their assignments, a pencil sharpener to keep the pencils sharp, and a very nice looking carpet that allows the students to work in an alternative spot.
Usually around this time of year, I am asking parents for more pencils and the pencil sharpener is usually broken by now. That has not been my experience this year.

This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 4 other donors.

The stools will be used for small group. As of right now, I have three stools that I have pieced together from other teachers at the school. When my students come to small group to work with the teacher, they often have to find a chair to pull up. I teach math, so pencils are a necessity. Our pencil sharpener is often broken. It takes a long time to get a replacement. I would like a quality pencil sharpener so that this is not an issue. The laminator will be used to preserve work station materials. I often make a center, then throw it away because it has not be laminated. All of these materials will make the learning environment that much more enjoyable.
