The two additional Dell Chromebooks will help give every student in the classroom a daily interaction with technology. The new computers will allow the students extra practice with computer applications during both reading and math center time. This will give the children extra time on computer programs that enhance their learning experience. An example is Accelerated Reader. This program allows the students to test on books that they have read. This checks for comprehension and understanding. The extra time on a computer each day would help in intervention time and with progress monitoring for each student. All children should have the same options as other students. These children deserve an opportunity to work on the computer daily.
