Kid Friendly Library for 2019, Not 1951!

Words cannot express the gratitude Lemay Elementary feels to be supported with such a big project like this. We want to give a very big thank you to She's Got Moxie, LCC, Logan McLauchlin, Maria Reyna Quiroz, Glynda Jennings, Inara, Sydne and Family, and Gift of Learning Giving Page/Dawn for your generous donations that made this upgraded library come to life. Your donations have reached all 400+ students from grades Preschool to 5th by allowing them to have flexible seating options and a reading center, with colorful cushions and cozy bean bags, a listening center with multiple new exciting books on CDs, and table seating and chairs for younger students in grades K-2, in addition to fun and new decorations and inspirational posters.

Walking into the library for the first time to see the upgraded and kid friendly furniture lit up the students' eyes. It was a nice present that they all truly deserved for their hard work, dedication to learning, and positive attitudes as students every day at Lemay. We made sure to let the staff and students know that we are so lucky and should be appreciative to have these new things thanks to your donations! Working on this project took months of planning by teachers Ms. Villeda and Ms. Akilian, but it was all worth it in the end to see the students enjoy using their new library.
