Most of my students do not have technology or books at home, beyond basic internet, and a reusable, digital notebook would contribute to in-the-moment, interactive learning when we are teaching writing skills. Beginning English Learners benefit from direct instruction in developing English skills and the ability to give students immediate feedback on their writing is essential. The outcome would be responsive learning, collaborative writing, and digital skills. Successful navigation in our internet world is dependent on literacy skills and the ability to communicate across technology platforms. Communicating effectively in writing is an important 21st century skill.

About my class
