Welcome to my amazing third grade class! We are a family of 12 students and learning is what we love to do! The personalities in my classroom are amazing. We laugh and learn all at the same time. One thing I make sure to teach the students is how to love one another and how to be helpful to everyone. The students really love to read independently, with me in small group, and in a whole group setting, and to another. We complete book studies on a regular basis and I have found that getting deeply involved in books allows students to find a new love of reading for understanding. They are also able to make new connections and learn vocabluary words they have never been exposed to and finding a new love for reading and understanding what you are reading is one of the greatest gifts of all.
