  • Stem Sensory

    Funded Feb 28, 2024

Thank you for supporting our classroom. The students love the stem sensory items. They all love the sensory bottles, that one is a class favorite.

Providing the students with another source of stem activities that include other senses has helped them to engage in other activities and thoroughly enjoy their stem activities.

They have also enjoyed the different silly putties. Some of them glow in the dark, change colors with temperature changes, or are magnetic. This has sparked some great conversations about how other things change or don't change.

Thank you again for supporting the classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Q

  • Reporting for Turtle Duty!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our project. Your impact to our classroom is grand!

The students have been loving the new addition to the classroom! They have enjoyed learning more and more about how to take care of our class pet. They are able to take care of the turtle on their own. They are becoming more independent and taking more responsibility for their pet.

Again thank you so much for taking the time to read about our classroom and have an impact that will last a lifetime for these students!”

  • Support for All

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations and for taking time out of your busy schedule to read the impact these supplies have made on my classroom.

The students love to have new and fresh materials to use. Who doesn't love being the first one to open or use something?

Everyone had a wonderful time opening and reading all the materials. Several of the books and chairs that were donated have already been used and loved. The students love having new chairs to sit in and complete their work or have a moment to relax.

I can't wait to see how much the students will be encouraged to learn.”

    With gratitude,

  • Growing Technology Skills Through Fine Motor

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

Thank you for donating to my classroom and the impact it has on each student is shown! The headphones that we got make a HUGE difference! Each student is able to have their own pair and the headphones work properly. The students are able to complete their activities on the computer and work to the best of their abilities. The games that we received have also helped the students enjoy working on the computer. They enjoy practicing their skills and building confidence along the way. Being able to complete projects on their own brings a huge smile to their faces.”

  • Anxiety Relief from COVID-19 Impact

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. The sensory tiles are a huge hit in the classroom! Everyone loves to step on them and see the colors move. Many students even prefer to sit on the tile for learning or to read a book. The teachers like them too!

The yoga ball is another huge success with students and teachers. It provides another unique seating opportunity and it allows students to have a small bounce when they need a moment to wiggle. The stress rope pillow is another item that many students enjoy using! It is a different shape and the students enjoys trying to "untie" it and it challenges their brain in a different way and also provides a snuggle whenever needed.”

    With gratitude,

  • Osmo Learning

    Funded Jun 30, 2021

Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom. The students absolutely love using the OSMO program. They love of the academic concepts are presented in a fun game style. The OSMO program keeps their attention and helps them to practice all sorts of skills.

They loved getting to open and use all the new materials. Everyone seems to enjoy the story making game the best. They love the funny characters and making new stories.

The OSMO program is wonderful and will be able to grow with each student as they make their own progress.”

  • Flexible Seating for Special Learners

    Funded May 3, 2019

Thank you for opening up your heart and reaching out to my classroom. These new seats are wonderful. They offer different types of seating to make sure the student are able to stay focused and engaged on their work.

The Jellyfish seats are great. They allow the students to bounce up and down without falling or causing a distraction to others. The seats do not move and are stable. All students are able to sit comfortably and move when they need.

The Kore seats are helpful to the students. The stools allow the students to move from side to side. Some students are even able to dangle their feet and move them freely if wanted.

The seats are positioned around the room. If the students want a certain seat they are able to pick them up and move them to their spot. These seats will offer the students the chance to move their bodies and stay focused.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Q

  • The Gift of Reading

    Funded May 3, 2019

Thank you for opening your heart and donating to my classroom. The students loved seeing all the new materials sitting on the tables. They were very excited to get them open and start using them.

The Build-a-Word is a great tool that is used with many different level of students. This material has so many different words for the students to learn and spell, they will never get bored. There are also several new words for them to learn. It is great that these new words are included, it offers more learning.

The Alphabet Mystery Box is a fun game to play with the students. This is something that can be used with many different levels. The students loved grabbing the different items out of the box and seeing where the object goes.

The Tactile letters are great and bring a different sense into learning. The letters offer another way to see and feel the letters. The students are able to spell their names with the letters. Some students even used a crayon and paper to rub the letters.

The Leveled Readers are wonderful. There are plenty of stories so the students are not reading the same book multiple times. There is also more than one copy of each book. This allows students to work together and each have their own materials.

All these materials are wonderful and will offer a new and different way of learning reading!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Q

My classroom is a special education room. I have students who have various intellectual disabilities. We are blessed to have a great administration who help, guide, and support not only the teachers but also the students. As admin and teachers, we work together to provide the best for the students. We encourage them the strive to be the absolute best they can be. In our Title I school, we service a rural community. We are growing more and more reach and every year. With the sizes of the classes growing all the time, it can be challenging to have the correct or right amount of materials for everyone. Having extra resources can assist the students to become the best they can be.
