  • The Importance of Play!

    With the help of many of you, my students have been given the gift of new materials to not only increase letter/number recognition skills but fine motor skills as well. I love to see my students engage in purposeful play and have access to different materials. Because of YOU, I will be able to alternate manipulatives based on students needs/interest throughout the school year! We owe it all to you and thank you all so much again. We can't wait to work on a new project in the future!”

  • Working on My Gross Motor Muscles!

    With the help of many of you, my students have been given the gift of new tricycles to not only help increase gross motor skills but social skills as well. When we have the opportunity to go outside for outdoor play (now weather permitting) I have noticed a huge improvement in social skills as my students are no longer "fighting" over tricycles but instead enjoying them. New tricycles = less conflict & more fun! We owe it all to you and thank you all so much again. We can't wait to work on a new project in the future!”

My students are still learning to share, take turns and socialize. We love going outside everyday and riding tricycles. However, we do not have enough trikes for 18 children to share. These trikes will help cut down on wait time for children to ride and also extend the amount of time they ride because more children will be able to use them at the same time. Did I mention that we'll be sharing these trikes with the 3 year old class?! Help us burn some rubber with a new set of wheels to work on our gross motor skills outdoors!
