AES STEM Lab
Funded Oct 19, 2023Thank you for supporting my project! We got it fully funded!! This will be a fantastic improvement to our stem lab!! The aprons will allow us to continue doing fun, messy labs where we don't have to worry about what our parents will say about our clothes when we get home. The flashlights will help us when we start learning about sight and light as well as the sun and shadows, and the headphones will help those students who get overstimulated by noises, which often happens with exciting labs.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and 2 other donors.STEM Lab
Funded May 14, 2022The legos and other items donated has help our STEM class increase their engineering abilities and creativity. They also love using the "plans" that lego included to build certain things. I've notices some of the favorites are the Ice cream cone, the mermaid, the light house and the flower. Some honorable mentions are the tree, the house, the boat, the giraffe and the dog. The students also take their own creative liberty to build what they want which is also amazing. I love seeing what they come up with. They're always so excited when they see the legos out because they love to engineer and bulf things.”

Life Cycle Science K-2
Funded Feb 5, 2022Thank you for helping us extend our life cycle unit. The students loved every stage of the chickens life cycle! They loves candling the eggs and watching the veins and "black blobs" get bigger and bigger. Then on the day the eggs were hatching they were Thrilled to watch the little chicks break out of their shells.
Once the eggs had hatched and we had 11 healthy chicks was when the fun began! We watched them grow so fast. They got to hold the baby chicks and watch them grow. They loved seeing the chicks grow and get their own personalities.”

Hands-on Learning with Technology
Funded Feb 4, 2019This project has helped my students grow in so many ways! They love the hands on application. It is a fun game for them to make words or find the missing letters in words.
With this technology my students phonics skills have improved! I was able to differentiate the activity to each individual child's needs. They love it! It could be something as simple as what is the first letter in the word cat to as complex as being shown a picture and the student had to sound out all letters!
They were also excited to see that they cab use this technology to help them draw. It even takes a video of they drawing that they can post in their "gallery". This is awesome because it is helping them develop hand eye coordination as well as small motor skills. Thank you so much for this amazing contribution to our Classroom!”
