Thank you so much for your generous gift of books for my students. Since we didn't have enough copies at my site these were very helpful in allowing my students to discover the world of Dickens. Most students enjoyed--and all appreciated--being able to make connections to the text and seeing the reach that this story (and others by Dickens) have in our culture and in our shared stories. I was even able to show a clip from the recent film ~The Last Black Man in San Francisco~ that makes a reference to the work. Thank you so much for funding this project. Great Expectations was one of my favorite works (as a freshman and beyond) to study and I loved being able to share it with my students. Looking forward to the next round. Thank you again!”
