My students love learning and they love our literacy time! We explore words, text, reading and learning during our Daily 5 time and they look forward to it each day. These stations support an in-depth approach to learning how to read by allowing my students the opportunity to learn and grow at their own level. Daily 5 fosters a sense of independence and self-management with my students. The headphones will allow my students to spend time listening to reading and working with technology at an independent level. The plastic book boxes will be used for each student to be able to pick and manage their own little library, changing out the books each week. I currently use paper boxes and they do not hold up to the wear and tear of daily use. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I show them these items. They will be so excited! Thank you!
