The students need a break from technology, and board games are a great way to help them socialize with each other and have fun. I want them to use board games during indoor recess time and also as a reward system. Our classroom has broken calculators that the students are unable to use. Using calculators will help them when they are solving problems with challenging numbers. The students also love science experiments and the water density tank will surely capture their attention while also teaching them the skills they need to know. Our classroom bookshelf just broke, and we have no place to put all of our wonderful books. The students love reading in class and having a bookshelf makes it easy for them to look through the books. We do a lot of fun and colorful art projects and it would be so helpful to have some markers. The students also use markers to highlight while reading but all of the markers we have in class are dried out.
