Flexible seating options allow the students to be in charge and have a choice about how they would like to learn! Allowing them to be in charge gives them a sense of pride and builds their self esteem! Often times during our groups, they have to choose a spot in the room to read to self or read to a partner. Having the flexible seats allows them to feel more comfortable in the classroom. The bean bags and soft pillows let them sit on the floor and read in a more relaxed, comfortable setting! Please help my students acquire new ways of sitting!
