Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. My students are very wiggly and sitting still in a chair doesn't always allow them to stay focused on doing their best work. When they have a choice and the ability to move and be comfortable, they are more productive. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. It is amazing to see how the power of choice and what it does to a student's motivation. My students have become more engaged and get way more done than when they are sitting in chairs at their table. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The ball seating is a great way for students to move while still staying at the table getting their work done. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. The comfy floor seats will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. I have seen many classrooms use flexible seating and I just love the benefits the students get from it. I can't wait to start having some flexible seating options and see the positive affects it will have on my students!
