Working Together Is Always Better!
Funded Nov 13, 2024Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am incredibly grateful for the donations you made to my classroom. Teaching a multi-grade class this year has been challenging. My students have loved the donated materials, especially the mobile whiteboard, and can collaborate between grade levels. They all want to be chosen to use the whiteboard to work out their math problems and explain their thought processes to the whole group. The stem activities have also been a huge hit in my classroom.
I appreciate your generosity and have seen my students' renewed enthusiasm for learning.”

Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you so much for helping me supply my students with various forms of learning and reading. I have students with many different learning styles and preferences. Some kids are not as strong of a reader as their peers are and require more support.
The headphones allow my students to listen to books rather than read the hardcover. This improves their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. Other students learn best by reading AND listening to the same book twice. The students all enjoyed reading "Because of Winn Dixie". Many have mentioned that it is now their favorite book! Thanks so much for giving me the tools to help my students access and feel a love of learning that I wouldn't otherwise be able to offer them myself.”

Mrs. Tibbets
Back to Basics
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thanks so much for donating to my "Back to Basics" project. I have a large number of students I teach everyday due to being a Dual Immersion teacher. It is stressful and financially taxing to buy these supplies. Students in 4th grade do not take the best care of their materials either, despite best intent.
The crayons, paper, headphones, and white board materials are used every single day in my class! Basic schools supplies for my class saves me money, time, and helps ensure student engagement.
My students were SO EXCITED when I opened the boxes that were shipped to our classroom. Their eyes and faces literally brightened with excitement! I too was excited to hear my students say how much they loved the things that were donated and that they wanted to use them immediately. Any day I can see excitement in my students regarding their learning is a huge win! Thanks so much for everything and giving us classroom essentials!!!!”

Funded Aug 8, 2022Thank you so very much for donating to my classroom. Right now in my 4th grade class, my students are having a blast reading the "Fortune Fables". They are so excited to crack the code from each chapter and want to keep reading . The money games are so much fun! Better yet, they are also educational.
The skills and lessons introduced to students who read these books are endless. These children are being taught real-life appropriate vocabulary and financial concepts. Every child needs to have experience in financial literacy in their earlier years.
My students were elated to get the Monopoly game and "Exact Change". My students are learning and using math concepts in a fun and creative way! I am also excited to use the games on snowy inside recess days!”

Funded Feb 13, 2019I want to start with an apology that this is so late. My daughter with special needs had emergency surgery when this was initially due, and things happened that made me forget time and time again. No excuse though.
My students LOVED the activities and materials that were donated to them. My students were a diverse group of Title 1 first graders with the majority of them being ELL students. These materials helped bridge the gap between ELL and non ELL students because they were engaging and appropriate for ALL. These resources that were donated helped assist in learning academic content, content immigration, Academic English, as well and social English. These are essential to this particular population resources these students desperately need.
As a Title 1 teacher, you sometimes feel very strained for time with each student because the academic needs and social-emotional needs are so demanding with so many little ones. It's very hard for these little ones to self-manage or has self-control at times. They also have a very hard time working independently. The activities that were donated made the children SO VERY excited to open and made them want to earn time doing them and were better able to do them in small groups even. They were major motivators for good behavior, class rewards, and working and being engaged in learning because it was something new and fun!”

Logic Project
Funded Nov 1, 2021Thank you SO very much for your donations to my classroom. We have had inside recess many times here in the Utah winter. The donated educational games and activities that encourage thinking, logic, and, reasoning has been a great way to supplement and encourage higher-order thinking skills while having fun. Our science
and ELA content has been supplemented in small groups with the activities.
Students have been able to use their ELA skills in the games like Boggle.
Our stem lessons have been supplemented by using the Catapult, magnets, and solar power activities!! They have gotten students so much more engaged and excited to practice things they learned with a supplemental activity.
When we opened the boxes, my class was ecstatic. They wanted to open everything immediately and try everything out! It made all of us so incredibly happy and excited. It also motivated the students to learn about the things the different activities showed. The catapult was the biggest hit with all the boys in the class!!
The next steps for our 4th-grade class are to merge what they have learned about science, math, and logic and integrate what they have learned so far into their ELA. We will do this by writing about what they have learned, what they want to learn more about, and what they loved most about the lesson.”
