This will make math a fun learning block for my students! My students love to learn hands on! The concepts we learn in fifth grade are difficult. Students learn best with concrete experiences, which requires manipulatives. To have the students have access to place value blocks would give the students that concrete experience. This method is beneficial to all students. After they can see the concrete model, they can start working with the abstract algorithms. These would be used year after year in my classroom! I would be so grateful! Thank you for your time and consideration in reading my project!
