Tools Needed to Help Slay Dragons.
Funded Feb 28, 2023Slaying dragons and dungeon delving has been a bit more immersive with your help in our extracurricular club for Dungeons and Dragons. Each student has their own set of tools to use. It helps move the game and interactivity along at a faster pace. We can do more in the small amount of time we have to run our club.
The materials have generated a buzz. Some younger students have heard these role playing veterans talk about the club and are interested in joining.
I look forward to introducing the game to this new crop of student / players. We may be looking for more dice and sourcebooks in the future. Thank you!”

Dungeons and Dragons Library for After School Club
Funded Dec 15, 2022Our campaign is off and running! We have an brave band of adventurers looking for glory, treasure and renown. Your generous donations gave us a few players handbooks for the students to create their characters from many diverse (imagined) races and backgrounds. The players handbook gives more choices than the few free ones provided online.
Having the book next to them while brainstorming backstories and character traits proved invaluable; they were able to refer back and forth and see the correlation of stats and story. They altered their choices based on what they believed gave them advantages and forcing them to be creative about their character's origins.
The students were able to look through all the different campaign scenarios. They were bit overwhelmed by the longer campaigns especially being novices to playing the game. In the end, they chose to adventure using the sourcebook "Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel". A short 'one-shot' to get their feet wet. But after getting a taste of what Dungeons and Dragons is, they are excited to try out the different campaigns in the other books. These books have sparked their imagination, and creativity. I can't wait to see what the next dice roll brings.”
