I am in need of a Roll & Race! Activity Ramp, a Ramps & Balls Exploration Set and Storage Box, Fine Motor Math Centers, an I Can Build It! Architecture Set, Design & Build Water Blocks, Snap Bots, Bristle Builders, and Turn & Learn Magnetic Gears.
These hands-on Lakeshore learning resources and activities will help my students create by using their fine motor and architectural skills! Building toys will make an impact on our students learning because they will provide them with hands-on materials that are open-ended and will give them an outlet to be creative in many ways. The Light-Up Countdown Time will help students in turn taking and patience when wanting to use a building toy of their choice if another student is using it.
There are many cognitive benefits as well and kids who build, tend to become better mathematicians. Children learn vocabulary, math, spatial awareness, engineering skills and balance by using blocks and manipulatives. These materials will help build and enhance our students motor, creativity and problem solving skills and will be an awesome addition to the classroom learning environment.
