  • Super Science Center

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

When our project got funded, I knew that it would be a hit in our classroom. Our super science area now provides our students with opportunity to access their science materials on a shelf that is mobile, extends STEM and is accessible. We use the mobile STEM shelf to house our STEM materials and the students have fun using the magnetic sides of it.

When the huge boxes came in the children were curious and excited to see what was in inside. We opened up the boxes, assembled a few things and we were good to go! The sensory table gives my students time to explore their senses and has been a great addition to the classroom. The table and chair set has given us a safe space to sit in and use with our small science manipulatives. Getting this project funded has extended our learning in science and has made it engaging and fun. We are sending a huge thank you to our donors.”

  • Keeping Warm in the Winter

    Funded Jan 22, 2025

Thank you for funding this project and especially at this time. The weather is cold and my students are going to benefit so much from this. We appreciate you taking the time to fund our project for our little ones. I can’t wait to see their faces when they get to take their new warm items home plus have protection from the winter elements.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Butler

  • A Little of This, and a Little of That

Thank you for your continued support to early childhood education and making learning fun for my young learners. We can’t wait to be able to use all of our requested items. This is going to impact our classroom in so many ways and enrich our learning environment. You are greatly appreciated and have truly made an impact.”

  • Classroom Furniture for Pre-K

    Funded Sep 3, 2024

We graciously thank you for your donations for our block area project. The students were so excited to see the giant boxes that contained our mobile storage shelves. These mobile shelves have made such a difference in our classroom. The block area is super accessible and if I need to move things around according to the students needs, I can do it with ease. The quality of the shelves are great and these will last a long time.

The block area has become a huge hit in the classroom. With the new shelves, students can easily access the materials and clean up is a breeze. Thanks again for helping our classroom environment reach its maximum potential. These mobile storage units were needed and will be put to some great use!

We want to thank each and every person who donated to this project. You are appreciated! Thank you for supporting Early Childhood!”

    With gratitude,

  • Making Rest Time Better

    Funded May 8, 2024

Getting this project funded was very important to us providing our students with a comfortable resting space. Our classroom cots were very old, so getting the new cots have been great addition to our room and materials. The students were so excited to see the boxes arrive to our classroom. The cots were easy to assemble and have brightened up our nap time.

Another great thing is that the cots are elevated, so our students are able to comfortably sleep off of the floor which gives them a more of a bed like experience while in school. It's all about comfort and we have achieved it! We now have more space and comfort that is suitable for our preschoolers. Rest time is an important opportunity for self regulation as well. Thank You!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Butler

  • Little Gardeners

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

We are so appreciative of your support to early childhood education. The students learned so much through the materials that we received and had many hands on experiences that are going to last them a lifetime. When we unpacked the materials for our garden the students had so many questions. We created a gardener classroom job and students planted flowers, radishes and even grass!

Science and inquiry learning has been happening and students have been so engaged. The best part of getting the project fully funded was that we were able to purchase caterpillars. The students created journals, learned many facts about metamorphosis and even watched our caterpillars turn into butterflies. After caring for them for a couple of days, they then released them into our school yard. What an experience! We are so thankful to be able to provide our students enriched science and real life experiences.”

  • So Dramatic about Dramatic Play

    Funded Apr 17, 2024

The dramatic play materials we received for our classroom are great. The students were so excited to see and open the new additions to this area. Eyes were bright and smiles were from ear to ear! This has enhanced our area so much and has made it even more responsive to our students learning experiences.

The dress up clothes were a hit! The students were able to dress up and pretend play with each other and their language and social skills blossomed because of this. The students now have the opportunity to explore and express a range of emotions, use their imagination and develop creatively. We are grateful for you all.”

  • Making Gym Fun

    Funded Mar 22, 2024

We are so thankful to receive our new gym materials. My students were so excited to see and open the boxes as they were delivered to our classroom. The pump came in handy and helped us inflate all of our balls quickly. My students eyes lit up when they saw the colors and variety of balls we could now use. The hula hoops and stepping stones were a hit! The students are excitedly creating paths to walk and jump across. Gym has become so much better with the added supplies.

We as so appreciative of your generosity and donations in helping enriching our gym time. Our students are beginning to learn many gross motor skills with the materials we received.”

    With gratitude,

  • Color Printer

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

This project being funded helped my classroom tremendously. When the printer got delivered, alongside the ink, and paper the students were ecstatic to see this huge technological tool we can now use in the room. As I had a classroom discussion to talk to them about what it was, as they are preschoolers, I explained to them that we are now able to print in color! One student in particular, excitedly said, "Yes! Now you can print out my shapes in color and maybe you can print me a robot to make in art area!" I happily agreed.

This printer has made color printing more accessible in the classroom and I can print my weekly newsletters with ease and make them visually appealing to families catching their attention. Every day we use the printer for something new, and it has become a frequent tool of technology added to our classroom. Thank you so much for your support to technology being in the early childhood classroom!”

  • Let's Get Moving!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the donors who contributed to this project. The materials we received made a huge impact on our students when they arrived. It is always a special treat to get new things and they were so happy to see all of the big boxes coming in. Developing gross motor skills supports our students ability to move, interact with the environment, and engage in physical activity.

They excitedly and patiently waited for the materials to be assembled and once that was done, they had a ball! Literally!! It is amazing to see the students move their bodies and developing a grand amount of physical skills. We also have some future basketball stars as the hoop was an absolute hit.

We plan to facilitate learning experiences that will help our students stay physically healthy and encourage exercising. We are thankful for all that you have done for us. Thanks for providing us with materials that help our students physical development.”

I am in need of a Roll & Race! Activity Ramp, a Ramps & Balls Exploration Set and Storage Box, Fine Motor Math Centers, an I Can Build It! Architecture Set, Design & Build Water Blocks, Snap Bots, Bristle Builders, and Turn & Learn Magnetic Gears. These hands-on Lakeshore learning resources and activities will help my students create by using their fine motor and architectural skills! Building toys will make an impact on our students learning because they will provide them with hands-on materials that are open-ended and will give them an outlet to be creative in many ways. The Light-Up Countdown Time will help students in turn taking and patience when wanting to use a building toy of their choice if another student is using it. There are many cognitive benefits as well and kids who build, tend to become better mathematicians. Children learn vocabulary, math, spatial awareness, engineering skills and balance by using blocks and manipulatives. These materials will help build and enhance our students motor, creativity and problem solving skills and will be an awesome addition to the classroom learning environment.
